Ardal O Hanlon

The showing off must go on   Where Ardal comes from (small-town Ireland) there is nothing worse than showing off. Yet he is a professional ‘show-off’ who continues to do stand up comedy for money, a very shy show-off (and as a result conflicted) but a big show-off nonetheless (a disgrace to his family). So why does he do it?   Because he loves it. And it’s a compulsion. And the world is a funny place. ‘…a brilliant comic mind working away to get the most out of every superbly sharp line.’  –Timeout

Legendary festival favourite, stand-up comedian, film & television star Omid Djalili returns to Galway. Intelligent, sometimes provocative and always entertaining. His stand-up is a hugely energetic and captivating comedy masterclass. Multi-award winner and as seen in ‘Mamma Mia 2’ and on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’. Soon to be seen in ‘His Dark Materials’.   "Did someone say National Treasure?" - Metro "One of the most joyfully smart, stimulating and entertaining comedians this country has." - Telegraph

Rich Hall

Possibly the grouchiest comedian on the planet, Rich Hall was the original inspiration behind Matt Groening’s character Moe Szyslak from The Simpsons – but that’s just one of many good reasons to go see him.  His critically acclaimed deadpan style has established him as a master of absurdist irony and the king of rapid-fire wit. The Perrier Award-winning Montana native is renowned for his expertly crafted tirades, quick fire banter with audiences and delightful musical sequences. Rich is a comedian whose plain spoken growling indignation and acerbic observations have an unerring talent for hitting his targets with precision every time, leaving his audience hanging on every word and winning him fans all over the globe. RICH HALL's Hoedown (Solo Show) Join Rich at his foot-stomping Hoedown for a mash-up of music, comedy and gratuitous coloration. If you are a Rich Hall fan, this is the show for you. The floor will reek of liquor and spent dreams. This is Rich doing what he loves best - singing funny country songs, often improvised, for the entire night. “As close as it gets to a guaranteed good show” – Scotland On Sunday

Jo Caulfield

Whether you’ve seen her on TV shows such as “Have I Got News For You” or “Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow”, heard her on the radio on “Just a Minute” or “Stop The Press”, or caught her live at one of her award-winning Edinburgh Festival shows, the chances are you’re already familiar with Jo’s work. Described by The Observer as “one of the finest female comics at work”, Jo can regularly be seen headlining the UK’s biggest and best comedy clubs.   "Quite simply, a damn funny woman." - The Scotsman

Dermot & Dave

Dermot and Dave return with another ridiculously funny show. Every year,Today FM stalwarts Dermot Whelan and Dave Moore sell out just as quickly as many world famous acts – they’re just that popular. Asked what people can expect from their stand up show, Dermot Whelan said:  “Imagine a bonkers radio show that grows legs and arms and a head and starts firing out craic and waving its arms like an angry King Kong in that movie. Not even close.” Dave Moore commented: “It’s all our listeners’ favourite characters, stand-up, improvised comedy, music and an interactive gardening segment – what’s not to love?!”

If you thought that Bingo was a boring game played solely by grannies, pensioners and incels then think again. If making the school lunches, doing the jaysus homework and dodging the guards because your NCT is out by two years is sending you over the edge, you are not alone. Come and join the Dirtbirds as they navigate the stresses and strains of modern life in their brand new  comedy show ‘Dirtbirds’ self-help tour’. This rip roaring two hours of comedy gold is a unique blend of hilarious sketch comedy and stand up.   “Their comedy is based on observing normal-life situations and turning them into very intelligent quips, sketches and stories.” - The Independent

Live Podcast and Book Launch with very special guests Comedy heroes The 2 Johnnies are Tipperary duo Johnny B (O’Brien) and Johnny Smacks (McMahon) who effortlessly capture the uniquely funny side of all things Irish. Their popularity is such that their YouTube channel has had over 8 million views; they have 170,000 followers on Facebook, and have scored four Number One songs in the Irish iTunes chart. Their live show often features material too controversial to be broadcast and has been described by the Limerick Post as being like “Blindboy Boatclub on acid!”     “Our audiences don’t hold back. If it’s not going well, they won’t be long telling you!”
